How to remove Coffee Stains from Carpet

Coffee stains are not so difficult to remove, but they can leave unsightly traces if cleaning measures are not taken on time. It is important to work on a stain when it is still fresh, however, it is not always possible to catch the stain fresh, which means that more efforts would be required to get it out.
Carpet cleaning Clapham recommends an easy and quick way to remove coffee stains from the carpet, and here it is:
  1. First, use a clean white cloth to blot the stained area as trying to soak up as much liquid as possible. If the coffee stain has already dried , there is no point of step 1 so proceed to step 2
  2. Use clean fresh water to flush the stained area and then blot with another clean white cloth until most of the water has been absorbed.
  3. Next, make a mixture of ½ cup of white vinegar and 1 cup of fresh water, and pour it into a spray bottle. Spray the stained area with the solution and then blot it by using clean white rug or cloth. If you have done everything properly till now, then most of the stain should be gone and you can go on to step 4
  4. Use a good carpet stain remover on the stain in order to remove it completely. If you don't know which stain remover is most suitable to use, then you can contact Clapham cleaners to give you some guidelines.
