Tomato Stains

The main ingredient in many dishes is the tomato. Unfortunately, thanks to the unsightly stains that tomato juice leaves, tomatoes are the main reason for many irreversible damaged clothes. But why should you put aside your favourite shirt, when there is a way to deal with such stubborn stains. Here are some tips how to get easily rid off these stubborn stains:

The cleaning products you are going to need are laundry pre-treatment,liquid detergent, all fabric bleach, bleach, dry cleaning fluid.
Cleaning Steps
1. Use laundry pre-treatment on the stain. Allow the solution to absorb into the stain for several minutes and launder immediately. For harder stains, scrub with a heavy-duty liquid detergent or call professionals such as Acton cleaners.
2. If the stain is not completely removed, soak the affected area with all-fabric bleach. However, use it carefully, because all the colours may brighten.
3. For white clothes, you can use liquid chlorine bleach and water to soak the stained apparel. Keep in mind, that bleach can damage some dyes irreparable, so read the manufacturer's instruction regarding the use of bleach. Usually, it takes no more than 15 minutes for the bleach to remove a stain. If the stain remains, there is no point to keep using bleach as it will only weaken the fabric.
4. If there are no results till now, use absorbent white paper towels with dry-cleaning fluid on it, and apply the solution to back of stain. Make sure to follow strictly the instruction of manufacturer. Wait to dry,then rinse and launder.
