Tip number 1- do not clean the wax until it's dry. Trying to do that, will help the wax to reach deeper into the fibres of the material and after that you won't be able to clean it at all.

Tip number 2 – get an iron and a newspaper. Place the newspaper on the spot and then go over it with the hot iron. You will see little greasy stains which will appear on the paper. This means that the wax is melting and it transfers on the paper. This is good. Repeat that action till the stain is completely cleaned.
