Steam vs. Dry Cleaning

It is normal for carpets to get dirt and sometimes cleaning can be very hard. This is one of the reasons why people prefer to call carpet cleaning companies do to it for them. The other reason is that the equipment used by them is far superior to anything that we can afford.
There are two basic methods of cleaning. The first one is steam cleaning or hot water extraction. A water under big pressure is used to clean and rinse the carpet. This method would help you to remove the dirt and refresh your carpet.

The second type is dry cleaning. The only thing you need to do is to sprinkle your carpet with a powder. But remember that the powder remains in the carpet and you should not rinse it.
Most of the professional cleaner will tell you that once the stain is removed it is gone. But the truth is a little bit different, everybody knows that wet areas attract a lot of dirt. That is way any dirt that enters the area is attracted to this spot, and another stain can occur.

Another method which is barely new is dry steam. This type of cleaning is supposed to be dry till the end of the process after that it is used more water than in the steam-cleaning without leaving any water behind.

Ask your family member not to step on the carpet until it is completely dry.

Remember that when you have children you need to clean your carpet more often. Think the best time to clean it, and then you can hire one of the professional carpet cleaning London companies. They will come to your home and do the job for you.
